Sometimes the best projects come along at the worst possible moments.

Devil May Cry became the second most-watched series on Netflix.

So when Adi Shankar reached out and offered us the chance to work on it, we said yes with absolute excitement.

Watch the Intro here:

While I was working on this, serious personal issues prevented me from producing the entire intro through Angry Metal the way I would have loved to.

But in return, I discovered a new way of working:

building the entire foundation of the project hand in hand with Adi,

while entrusting the final execution to the talented team at VCR WORKS.

It gave me a new understanding of the industry,

one that has opened up new horizons,

and new room for growth.

You learn something new with every project.

With every mistake, you discover resources you didn’t even know existed.

Every failure puts a new tool within reach.

And that’s how you build a career.

It’s not about always getting it right.

It’s about making damn sure you never repeat the same mistake twice.

I have a fine collection of mistakes, and I share them with my subscribers every day.

People read them as prevention.

I write them as vocation.

Today I’ll send you one.

Subscribe tomorrow, and you’ll never know what today’s was.
